About Mariko

Mariko Kataoka has been a member of the Babiak Team since 2014 and served in many capacities including administrator, staging coordinator and, for the past four years, sales representative. With experience at all stages of the real estate process, she has developed the necessary skills to best serve you in one of the most important pursuits in life. Mariko is hardworking, detail oriented, proactive, patient, knowledgeable and adaptive to both her clients' needs and the ever-changing market. She works with many first-time buyers and sellers and educates clients in the real estate process - a key component to a successful partnership.

A lifelong resident of west end Toronto, Mariko grew up in Swansea and attended Swansea P.S and Humberside C.I. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a graduate certificate from Durham College. Before entering real estate, her varied work experience included managing an aquatics facility and serving as a Diversity Officer at her alma mater, Durham College. In her leisure time, Mariko can be found up north at the cottage with her partner Scott and sweet dog Ludo, going on nature walks, swimming at the beach or managing construction projects! She also enjoys painting and playing the piano.
